You become part of a larger network
You get an expanded network in Sweden and also Europe (SENA)* and get good opportunities to develop in your career. The association has contacts and collaborations with relevant partners in the field, which opens up for job placement and advertising.
Annual events and conferences
You will be invited to a number of events and have the chance to strengthen your skills in sustainability, career and entrepreneurship linked to core nutrition. Previous events have been very popular. Members get valuable opportunities to exchange experiences and make contacts.

Our packed newsletter is sent to your email every month. There you can read about the latest research, new projects and what is happening in Sweden right now in our field.
Use your power to influence
The Nutritionist Association is a volunteer association and the only requirements for a board member are commitment and time. No previous experience is required. The board is voted on every year at the annual meeting and all members can run for positions. Then you as a member have the chance to apply for a place on the board. It is a valuable experience with great chances for advocacy work where you also constantly advocate for the association. The work leads to practical skills in how an association is managed and driven forward according to purpose. In addition, you get to know wonderful people with similar backgrounds and interests. *SENA stands for Society of European Nutritionist Associations and works long-term to promote and strengthen the role and professional position of nutritionists. Work for a professional license is ongoing.
Membership in the association costs 144 SEK/year and is offered both through combined membership with Naturvetarna or as an independent member of the Nutritionist Association. The fee also applies to students.
